In 1987, Jay Mullins, along with a group of local business leaders founded First Commercial Bank of Cullman County, with the sole purpose of providing the citizens of Cullman and surrounding counties with a locally owned and operated bank that is driven by customer service. With tremendous support from our communities, we were able to expand into several North Alabama counties. Due to this expansion, in 2004 the Bank’s name was changed to Premier Bank of the South to show our intention of bringing our customer first philosophy to many more surrounding counties. Throughout our many years of changes, one constant has remained…. we will always put the needs of our customers and communities first.
